Keep Believing in Yourself

Learn to be your own best friend. To do this, you need to consider what you tell yourself. For example, if someone kept saying to you that "you're stupid" or "what a dumb dream - you could never do that", would you continue to hang around with them? For most of us, I think the answer is No.
Yet - we do hang around with someone just like that if these are the thoughts that we hold in our minds. Those internal put downs need to be replaced with encouragement and hope.
Many times we look to others to do this for us, when what we really need to do is to turn to ourselves and change what is going on in our head. For a week, try replacing those negative thoughts with thoughts like: The possibilities are unlimited if you reach beyond your comfort zone. And remember, what you think of yourself is far more important than what others think of you.
